Program recommendations for the weekend, without claiming to be exhaustive.
If anyone knows of a relevant concert that was left out, let us know!

REMINDER:


Only those programs make it into the recommendations for which a Facebook event is created, and which is visible on the band’s page (with few exceptions)!
In addition, I would like to draw every band’s attention to the fact that they should create events for their concerts, which can be found on their pages. Just sharing is not enough.

An especially eventful weekend awaits us, particularly in the capital. Pedrofon and the Dynamite Dudes kick off the march already on Thursday, and on Friday The Bits, the Party Dance Band and Blackwater also take the stage in Budapest.
It’s a pleasure that less frequently seen bands also appear in the recommendations. The Easy Babies, the Matchboys, The Rebel Riders and the Lonesome Carroll Rockabilly Show all take the stage this weekend.

The ever-neglected Borsod county does not remain completely without a program this time either. In Bükkszentkereszt, the Illés Emlékzenekar - MIEZ performs at the Jubilee Mushroom Days. The county is still not a rock and roll capital, but at least the locals get a concert this time too.

The most-booked band of the weekend will be the Dynamite Dudes, who perform on six (!!!) occasions. Pedrofon follows them with three concerts.

This time Jumping Matt and his Combo travels abroad, giving two concerts in the Netherlands.
There’s no film worth our while on TV.

Artists like Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, and Jerry Lee Lewis were major figures in the Rockabilly movement. Blues is a music genre that originated within African American communities in the southern United States during the late 19th century. Country is a genre of music that originated in the rural regions of the southern United States during the early 20th century. It combines folk traditions, storytelling lyrics, and simple yet memorable melodies. Common instruments include acoustic guitar, fiddle, banjo, and steel guitar. Country songs often focus on everyday life, family, love, and personal experiences. Artists such as Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, and Willie Nelson helped make Country music one of the most popular genres in the world.

Beat music is a genre that developed in the United Kingdom during the late 1950s and early 1960s. It combines elements of Rock and Roll, rhythm and blues, and skiffle music. The style is characterized by strong backbeat rhythms, vocal harmonies, and guitar-driven arrangements. Bands such as The Beatles, The Searchers, and Gerry and the Pacemakers became leading representatives of the Beat movement. Beat music played a major role in the British Invasion and significantly influenced the development of modern pop and rock music.
