Boldog 90. születésnapot, Elvis!

Eljött a nap, Elvis Presley kilencvenedik születésnapja!



Az elmúlt években, ezen a napon rá emlékezve felidéztük életpályáját.

Ezúttal a legutóbbi születésnapján készült felvételekkel bizonyítjuk, hogy Elvis nincs elfelejtve, és élete mai napig hatással van sokunkra.
Sőt, nélküle talán a populáris zene minden irányzata más utat járt volna be.
A rendezvényt 2024 Januárjában tartotta meg a Magyar Elvis Klub a New Orleans Clubban, Budapesten.


That's All Right



Ezt a dalt eredetileg Arthur Crudup írta 1946-ban. Elvis 1954-ben rögzítette a híres saját verzióját.
A dalt a B'15 Truckabilly Trio társaságában Nitus adta elő a múlt évi rendezvényen.



(You're the) Devil in Disguise



Ez a szerzemény 1963-ban született, szerzői Bill Giant, Bernie Baum, és Florence Kaye voltak. Az eredeti változatban hallhatjuk elvis híres kísérő énekeseit, a The Jordanaires-t.
A szerzeményt 2024 Januárjában a Lantos Gábor & The King's Men-től hallhatta a közönség.



Little Less Conversation



Elvis 1968-ban rögzítette Mac Davis és Billy Strange dalát. Az eredeti tervek szerint Elvis énekelte volna a dalt a felejthetetlen Comback Special koncert során is, de végül elvetették az ötletet.
A Peter Andorai & the Graceband nagy gyakorlatra tett zsert ebben a dalban, tőlük hallhatjuk most.
