Let's see which videos were the most watched on the Napi Rock and Roll YouTube channel during Week 40.

The winner of the week was Ed Philips and the Memphis Patrol with Stuck On You. The audience could hear the song at last year's Pick Up Drive Romhány, and it collected 68 views and four YouTube likes. This was enough for a comfortable first-place finish.

A tie emerged for second and third place, which was decided by average view duration.

Deaf Kats claimed second place with Spider Man Theme Song. The audience could see the performance at the same event as the first-place song. The video reached 53 views, and its longer average view duration of 2:46 gave it the advantage in the tie-break.

The third spot on the podium went to Ati Edge and the Shadowbirds with their performance of Fairchild. The band appeared at this year's The Race of Last Rebels car meeting, and the song also collected 53 views along with three likes.

Fourth place went to Budapest Rock and Roll Band with Krokodili. The song generated 46 views and received three likes.

Fifth place was secured by the Polish Psycho Beets with Pin-up Girl. The audience could hear the song at the The Race of Last Rebels car meeting, and it reached 34 views.

Sixth place went to the German The Booze Bombs with Rooster in the Henhouse. The band took the stage at the 2024 Pick Up Drive Romhány, and the song collected 32 views.

In seventh place finished Dynamite Dudes with Call Me the Breeze. The audience could hear the number at this year's Zug Low Rider, where it gathered 30 views. The average view duration exceeded three minutes.

Eighth place went to Group'n'Swing with Tu vuò fà l'americano. The song reached 27 views, while the average view duration also remained above three minutes.

A tie occurred for ninth and tenth place as well, which was decided by average view duration, in the same way.

The Top Guyz finished ninth with Blue Suede Shoes. The audience could hear the song at the 2025 Pick Up Drive Romhány, where it collected 26 views and one like. Its longer average view duration proved decisive in the tie-break.

Closing the chart was Pedrofon with Szuri Muri, also with 26 views. An interesting fact about this song is that it was written as a response to the COVID pandemic, and it may not have been performed anywhere since then.

If you haven't seen some of these videos yet, now is the perfect time to catch up!

Rock and Roll is a popular music genre that emerged in the United States during the 1950s. It combines elements of rhythm and blues, country, gospel, and jazz into an energetic and danceable style. The music is characterized by strong rhythms, electric guitars, and catchy melodies. Early pioneers such as Chuck Berry, Little Richard, and Elvis Presley helped bring Rock and Roll to a worldwide audience. Its influence shaped many modern music genres and continues to inspire musicians today.

"Before Elvis there was nothing.” - John Lennon (Beatles)

Rockabilly is one of the earliest forms of Rock and Roll, developing in the United States in the early 1950s. It blends country music, particularly hillbilly music, with rhythm and blues influences. The style is known for its upbeat tempo, twangy guitars, and distinctive slap-back echo on vocals. Artists like Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, and Jerry Lee Lewis were major figures in the Rockabilly movement. Today, Rockabilly remains popular among fans who appreciate its vintage sound and unique fashion culture.

Blues is a music genre that originated within African American communities in the southern United States during the late 19th century. It is known for its emotional expression, often reflecting themes of hardship, love, and resilience. Blues music typically follows a twelve-bar chord progression and features expressive vocals and instrumental solos. Influential musicians such as B.B. King, Muddy Waters, and Robert Johnson helped define the genre. The Blues became the foundation for many later music styles, including Rock and Roll, jazz, and soul.

Country is a genre of music that originated in the rural regions of the southern United States during the early 20th century. It combines folk traditions, storytelling lyrics, and simple yet memorable melodies. Common instruments include acoustic guitar, fiddle, banjo, and steel guitar. Country songs often focus on everyday life, family, love, and personal experiences. Artists such as Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, and Willie Nelson helped make Country music one of the most popular genres in the world.

Beat music is a genre that developed in the United Kingdom during the late 1950s and early 1960s. It combines elements of Rock and Roll, rhythm and blues, and skiffle music. The style is characterized by strong backbeat rhythms, vocal harmonies, and guitar-driven arrangements. Bands such as The Beatles, The Searchers, and Gerry and the Pacemakers became leading representatives of the Beat movement. Beat music played a major role in the British Invasion and significantly influenced the development of modern pop and rock music.
