Meghalok, hogyha rám nézel held on to the top spot. Micsoda buli remained in second place, while Elhagyom a várost climbed six positions to reach the third spot on the podium.

Biggest Climbers

Besides the already-mentioned Elhagyom a várost, the following songs improved by at least three places:

A Rock and Rollnak mindig menni kell jumped to No. 11, gaining three positions,
Do You Love Me climbed six places to No. 12,
Teddy Boy Rock and Roll [by The Lincolns] advanced fifteen positions to No. 16,
Yes Tonight Josephine surged 344 places to No. 18,
Bim Bam improved by four places to reach No. 19.

New Entries

One new song entered the Top 20 this week:

Pin-up Girl debuted at No. 13.

New entries outside the Top 20:

Spider Man Theme Song entered at No. 22,
To Have and Have Not entered at No. 26. Interestingly, this song was recorded so long ago that the Napi Rock and Roll website and its viewing charts did not even exist at the time, only the YouTube channel.

Fallers

Within the Top 20, only one song lost at least three places:

Shoot Shoot fell fourteen positions to No. 20.
Songs Leaving the Top 20

None of the songs that dropped out of the Top 20 had spent more than six weeks on the chart.

Danger Zone

Based on points collected during the last five weeks (Weeks 35–39), the following songs are currently in the danger zone:

Hip Shakin' Mama (No. 8)
Proud Mary (No. 14)
Shoot Shoot (No. 20)

Shoot Shoot would celebrate its tenth week on the chart next week. The question is whether it can pick up enough points to reach that milestone.

Hungarian-language Songs

Five Hungarian-language songs appear in this week's Top 20:

Meghalok, hogyha rám nézel
Micsoda buli
Elhagyom a várost
Rock and Roll Party
A Rock and Rollnak mindig menni kell

The number of Hungarian-language songs remains unchanged compared to last week.

Interestingly, three of these five songs are connected to the Hungária repertoire.

Rock and Roll is a popular music genre that emerged in the United States during the 1950s. It combines elements of rhythm and blues, country, gospel, and jazz into an energetic and danceable style. The music is characterized by strong rhythms, electric guitars, and catchy melodies. Early pioneers such as Chuck Berry, Little Richard, and Elvis Presley helped bring Rock and Roll to a worldwide audience. Its influence shaped many modern music genres and continues to inspire musicians today.

"Before Elvis there was nothing.” - John Lennon (Beatles)

Rockabilly is one of the earliest forms of Rock and Roll, developing in the United States in the early 1950s. It blends country music, particularly hillbilly music, with rhythm and blues influences. The style is known for its upbeat tempo, twangy guitars, and distinctive slap-back echo on vocals. Artists like Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, and Jerry Lee Lewis were major figures in the Rockabilly movement. Today, Rockabilly remains popular among fans who appreciate its vintage sound and unique fashion culture.

Blues is a music genre that originated within African American communities in the southern United States during the late 19th century. It is known for its emotional expression, often reflecting themes of hardship, love, and resilience. Blues music typically follows a twelve-bar chord progression and features expressive vocals and instrumental solos. Influential musicians such as B.B. King, Muddy Waters, and Robert Johnson helped define the genre. The Blues became the foundation for many later music styles, including Rock and Roll, jazz, and soul.

Country is a genre of music that originated in the rural regions of the southern United States during the early 20th century. It combines folk traditions, storytelling lyrics, and simple yet memorable melodies. Common instruments include acoustic guitar, fiddle, banjo, and steel guitar. Country songs often focus on everyday life, family, love, and personal experiences. Artists such as Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, and Willie Nelson helped make Country music one of the most popular genres in the world.

Beat music is a genre that developed in the United Kingdom during the late 1950s and early 1960s. It combines elements of Rock and Roll, rhythm and blues, and skiffle music. The style is characterized by strong backbeat rhythms, vocal harmonies, and guitar-driven arrangements. Bands such as The Beatles, The Searchers, and Gerry and the Pacemakers became leading representatives of the Beat movement. Beat music played a major role in the British Invasion and significantly influenced the development of modern pop and rock music.
