2024-ben hetven éves volt a Rock and Roll. A legtöbb szakértő a Rock Around The Clock kiadásának idejére teszi a műfaj indulását, persze elfogadva azt, hogy voltak jól felismerhető előfutárai ennek az irányzatnak, mint például a Rocket 88.
Nézzük meg, hogy hogyan terjedt el a Rock and Roll, és hogyan szerepelt a Billboard Top 100-as listáján.

A lista második felében a 13. Ballad of Davy Crockett is előre tudott lépni öt helyet.
A 17. Pledging My Love és a 18. Blue Mirage egyaránt a huszadik helyről mozdultak el.
Két új szerzemény került be a húsz közé. A 18. Darling Je Vous Aime Beaucoup és a 20. Man Chases A Girl.
Ketten búcsúztak a listától. A 15. Teach Me Tonight és a 19. I Gotta Go Get My Baby.
