Ma volt a napja, amikor itthagyta a rajongóit Little Richard, a Rock and Roll egyik úttörője, aki az utolsók közt volt, akik még életben vannak közülük.
Életéről mindent megtaláltok a Wikipédián, vagy az újságok cikkeiben.
Ezzel a poszttal munkásságára szeretnék emlékezni azokkal a videókkal, amiken a követői a dalait játszák. Szerencsére bőseéges a felhozatal, a hazai előadók szívesen adják elő a dalait.

Fifty's Heaven - Keep-A-Knockin


A dal 1928 táján született némileg más szöveggel, de szenzációt már Little Richard csinált belőle 1957 augusztusában. 57 évvel később a Fifty's Heaven tűzte műsorára.


Chevromandala Transit Ride - Long Tall Sally


A sikeres Tutti Frutti lemez után következett a sorban a Long Tall Sally, ami talán a Beatles kezeibe kerülve érte el karrierje csúcsát. A felvételen a Chevromandala Transit Ride, Andorai Péter korábbi zenekara adja elő.

A felvétel érdekessége, hogy a nemrég szintén elhunyt Csipesz látható vendégénekesként a Pedrofon mellett a budapesti Amigó bárban.


Ed Philips and the Memphis Patrol - Ready Teddy


Ezt a dalt is Little Richard tette népszerűvé, hogy aztán mások mellett Elvis is műsorára tűzze. Így kerülhetett előadásra Elvis 80. születésnapi builján az Ed Philips and the Memphis Patrol által.


The Prison Band - Rip It Up


A Prison Band felvétele a 2017-es Elvis születésnapi bulin készült, hiszen tőle is gyakran hallhattuk a dalt.


Pianofrizz and Friends - Kansas City


Nem kifejezetten Little Richard dal, de lemezeken ő is kiadta 1959-ben a Kansas City-t, amit most (kakukktojásként) az osztrák Pianofrizz and Friends ad elő.


Pedrofon - Tutti Frutti


Little Richard példakép volt olyan hazai zenészeknek is, mint Csomós Péter és Matlaszkovszky Miklós, az ős Hungária tagjai. Mi sem bizonyítja ezt jobban, mint ez a felvétel, ahol a Pedrofon tagjaival közösen játszák a Tutti Fruttit, Little Richard talán legnépszerűbb számát.


Miksolci Illés Emlékzenekar - Little Richard


A végére hagytam a desszertet. Az Illés Zenekarra nagy hatással volt Little Richard, 1967-ben egy dalban is nyomatákot adtak ennek.
